This year's special guest country will be Finland, recognized for its leadership in sustainability, education and digital transformation.

From April 22 to 26, 2025, Santiago will once again host Expomin, Latin America's most important mining trade fair. This edition will take place at Espacio Riesco, featuring over 100,000 m² of exhibition space, international pavilions, outdoor zones, networking areas, technical presentations, and the participation of more than 1,300 exhibitors from around the world.

A major highlight this year is that Expomin 2025 will be the first carbon-neutral edition of the event. The organizers have implemented a sustainable mobility plan that includes shuttle buses, satellite parking lots, and logistical support designed to minimize the environmental footprint of attendees.

Finland has been designated as this year’s guest country, recognized globally for its leadership in sustainability, education, and digital innovation. At least 15 Finnish companies are expected to take part, showcasing technologies and solutions that support responsible mining practices.

For the first time, Expomin will open its doors to the general public on Saturday, April 26, offering educational activities and interactive experiences aimed at bringing mining closer to families and demonstrating its importance in everyday life.

With this renewed vision, Expomin 2025 positions itself not only as a key business platform, but also as a space to promote a more modern, inclusive, and environmentally responsible mining industry.
